reflecting on Starfield, i’ve realized that the game sounded super cool from the outside looking in, but when playing it, i got so bored. i spent most of my time navigating through menus, waiting for loading screens, and figuring out my “playstyle” which isn’t as clear as other Bethesda titles.

I liked Starfield a lot but I agree the concept was stronger on paper. I think execution-wise it didnt have the lasting power that TES and FO had

I think the game would have been more fun if there was a co-op or multiplayer mode where you do missions together.

I feel you completely on this. I cannot get over how stale, boring and uninteresting everything is. Honestly the most exciting part is in the very beginning when you are walking through the mining pit lol

For me it was landing on a brand new planet and scanning to find that all 4 points of interest were the same empty copy and paste cave. Really sucked all the enjoyment out of the space exploration 😔

Thought this was going to be an incredible game and it's just so meh. There isn't a single part that works... Bethesda ignored games that could have informed a better experience. Space combat - see Starwars: Squadrons (and why didn't they use VATS for battles?!), exploration see NMS, shooting...See anything since Doom
