When you see me struggle and want to be kind,
Please pause a moment and keep this in mind:
I know you mean well, and that means a lot,
But sometimes advice ties me in a knot.
“Have you tried writing your thoughts to ease the dread?
Or breathing in patterns - it’s all in your head!
What about healing while hugging some trees,
Or soaking your feet in the moonlit breeze?
Have you tried chanting to balance your flow,
Or tapping your forehead to let pain go?
Maybe worms for digestion to calm inside,
Or skipping meals to let toxins subside?”
Your ideas come from a place of care,
And your kindness, my friend, is beyond compare.
But I’ve heard many, I’ve tried a few,
And I’ll decide when or if to pursue.
It’s not about hurt, it’s not about blame,
I welcome ideas, just don’t push or proclaim.
Share them with love, then let them stay light,
No need to insist they’re the way to make right.
I love that you care, it means more than you know,
But sometimes what helps is just letting it go. 1 reply
