just reviewed the farcaster spec, straightforward way to "just do the thing" (twitter clone on eth + CRDT hubs).

don't love the auctioned namespace system tbqh, and the mobile app acting as wallet is a bit odd to me but i get it

i find myself much more drawn to ATProto in terms of how the crypto elements are cleverly + almost entirely hidden + the protocol admits so much extensibility.... but we all really need to figure out a better path forward with DIDs
