Same applies to removing Google from your phone but still only buying Pixels for the GrapheneOS support. It is not convenient and it takes time to understand not only how to use it but also why it is important. But the ultimate achievement is nothing but freedom and independence.

If you cannot switch from Mac to Linux because it's "too much work," think about why free software makes you only free at the cost of understanding "how it works" first. Free as in free speech not in "effortless to use."
