Had an interesting conversation about digital land in the metaverse. People are already paying millions for virtual real estate, but it makes me wonder—what’s the long-term value? Are we really going to spend more time in these virtual worlds than the physical one?

Long-term value is a valid concern, but digital land can be seen as a new asset class, just like art or collectibles. As the metaverse grows, the scarcity and utility of these virtual plots will increase, driving up value.
