I made it rain. It was a technical demonstration and not in a channel. The above is specific to the /degen channel and consistent with our policy on spam and ultra-low effort casts. Fair warning to participants: the major channels hate it and ban liberally.

Okay but why this cast https://warpcast.com/degentip/0x8bcec6ce has been posted in degen channel and clearly incentives people to spam a command or recast ?

It's expensive to use and hasn't produced that result. In the above case, ppl can trivially overrun channels with a /lot/ of effortless spam. And they're not the only case. Lots of projects are abusing farcaster's distribution and the community is pushing back. Go ahead, do the thing. Not in /degen.

Okay you're member of gmdao and you talked about farcaster few months ago there so I understand why you're so attached on what FC was before. We have different pov I guess, for me FC should embrace all sides of CT even side like the example above. Staying in elite/og pov is not good for business, just look at gmdao

That's fine. It's not elitism; spamming in channels is usually against channel norms. You're assuming this is tweeter when, at least in respect, it's more like reddit. Spam all you want; keep that noise out of /degen.
