Thoughts/wonderings about possible $eigen token/coin … - will it be an eth mainnet governance token? - will it be l2 with $eth for gas and $eigen for gov (like $arb and $op)? - will it be l2 with $eigen as gas and gov token (like $mnt)? - will it launch as l1, using its platform’s restaked $eth for security?

Eigenlayer is not a blockchain. It’s a set of smart contracts on ethereum main net. So yes to governance token although it is yet to be determined how it may or may not accrue fees.
