Have some lawyer friends staying over and it reminds me the #1 thing I miss from living in Paris: the diversity of careers and thought. In Paris I regularly hung out w doctors, lawyers, and all other kind of non-tech-thinking folks and it was very stimulating! I miss that, hard to find it in SF.

One of the reasons I left SF is that I kept meeting the same person (not literally but pretty much) every day. More of a monoculture than a seminary.

Maybe I got lucky but my core group of friends are: attorney, school teacher, cybersecurity, enterprise sales, PM ish roles, dev ๐คทโโ๏ธ All in SF
