Was having dinner with some recently retired boomers:

“I stopped working a year ago and I can barely remember anything I did in my career, it’s just the past now. I did it to make a living.”

That shit is so sad. Build things you care about, make it count.

Even more so than that, build something that you love. Making it to old age isn’t a sure thing. Today is the only thing that’s really promised so if you’re not spending it doing what you love, you’re wasting your time. (IMO)
