Has anyone here worked with a performance coach?

Yeah I’ve heard something like this before but how do I find the list of 2-4?

Coach yes but not specifically for performance. In general I'd always recommend thinking about what you wanna get out of it and interviewing 2-4 different ones.

Improving consistency. In particular my A game is great, but I am unhappy with my C game (off days).

I worked with an executive coach for about 9 months. I started the process just by letting people in my network know I was interested in getting one and the areas of development I wanted to focus on. A couple months later someone I trusted got back to me with an intro.

Yeah might try but human energy feels like it would help in this area.

Founder + investor networks often have lists of recommendations, usually w first hand experience. Ask your friends, tg groups, etc.

One thing I can tell you as a certified coach & psychologist who knows probably 100s of people doing this job full-time - most of these people are bad at their job (there are many reasons for that).

So only get people from referral and ensure that you get along from the first meeting since this alignment is crucial.

Yes, highly recommend. If I were to run the company again, I'd def invest in a coach on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.
