Unfortunately it's huge among certain, large strains of the moderate/radical left. Anarcho-liberals, some DSA groups, etc really come to mind. Rejecting neoliberal idpol is good, and forming coherent politics around identity is still neccesary. *Some* leftists have a sane approach to identity in politics, and they're usually attacked for it.. But they're probably best equipped to de-radicalize typical class-unsonscious, economically centrist people who feel alienated by liberal wokeness. It's important that we have ongoing dialogue about identity and both shared and individual understandings of identity in relation to our own politics and that of neoliberalism at large.
