Trump thinks he’s going to win a trade war with China. 

A communist controlled country with a population used to being suppressed and controlled 

Versus

A democratically controlled country with a population that gets upset about egg prices and elects an absolute dipshit.

China is going to win the trade war because they have raw goods and massive manufacturing, and trumps to stupid to have isolated us from our biggest allies, who don't all hate China

And look how quickly those freedoms are eroding with no pushback or plan to stop it, the reality is those freedoms have always been an illusion 

.16 of china's population (this includes estimated pretrial and "re education", without these numbers the percentage is .14) is incarcerated, 

.054 percent of Americans are incarcerated, and another .94 are on probation ( a majority for drug offensives) 

China has bombed zero countries since 2000, America has bombed 9

We obviously are but not to the extent they are.
