TIL Automattic acquired both texts.com and beeper.com, two all-in-one messaging apps. I was big on Beeper in 2023 but ended up dropping because it didn't feel first party enough, may give it a go again. If/when there's a read/write API for direct casts, one could theoretically make an adapter for those apps!
