With so many security issues, volatility and massive market manipulation will this ever lead to mass adoption in our lifetime?? If known people who are onchain since half a decade can get scammed then we dont really need to talk about newcomers they would be screwed!! And bam we lost a potential investor. How does the /base community or blockchain in general tries to solves this? Another Major problem is exposure of your assets to any tom dick and harry and this information make you potential targets for scammers to approach you and it also kind of hinders with my privacy. So in terms of traditional finance we are still behind but we are definitely scaling exponentially. Hence the community says /wearesoearly :

Tbh the same can be said for Fiat money with the primary difference they are backed by centralised and legitimised manipulation & guns

Mass adoption is also connected to convenience. Ex: why should I pay with crypto vs credit card. A first step then is having funds earned directly on chain (salary paid there, ...). The second point you mention is the #1 problem: privacy. No one will accept a system where one payment reveals your entire net worth.

There are so many things before it will be a mass adoption i believe. I dnt think scammers will anyways stop in near future too. We get scammed in UPI too much but still its a mass adoption and i guess its who us needs to be aware all the tym... But u r right security needs to be tighten and People should be actually aware of it.
