GOTY 2024 nominees are: - Final Fantasy VII Rebirth - Astro Bot - Balatro - Black Myth: Wukong - Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree - Metaphor: ReFantazio SotE is there? Metaphor and FF are strong contenders but i think its obvious which game is the winner @rstlss @kingblack

Balatro all the way. It has no shot of winning in this category (it should in both indie categories), but it’s my favorite game of the year by miles. Probably 150+ hours across PlayStation, Steam, and no iOS. Once it gets its hooks in you, there’s no escaping.

Ive heard so many great things about it, prolly i will download it soon. Being wukong among nominees was kinda absurd also. Im a big fan of SotE but i think astro world will be the winner.

Same. I love all things Elden Ring and FromSoft, but Astro Bot really surprised everyone. A level of polish and quality and just pure fun that also celebrates the medium itself.
