Genuine question: Do ya’ll think there will come a time that artists/designers won’t be able to compete with AI? The sheer amount of work produced in one generation from 1 prompt (say 100k pieces) is more than I could produce by hand in my lifetime. Even if it was a purely digital work.

Totally agree! Starfleet may have figured out replicators, but even paradise needs some hustle!  The key is adapting with the changes, like those accountants who embraced computers. Some saw it as a threat, others doubled their business! The early adopters even built solutions for the rest.

Art is ever changing & adaptive, Just playing to the dystopian extreme. 

I loved Star Trek growing up. TNG is still my fave show. Seeing folks explore space & do whatever they want with no poverty on earth was incredible, but I’d think of the other side, “what if people get lazy & humanity becomes stagnant”.

Agree! Not everything done by hand is a valuable use of time. I use AI to streamline mundane processes in my workflow so I can get the parts I really enjoy about creating.

@trashnfts is both generative & also hand drawn and I love that about it because I physically could not have done it without that automation piece.
