In the debate over whether a protocol should build its own client, we now know the better approach. 

Microsoft built Surface devices to refine their software and show the ecosystem what’s possible. 

Similarly, building Warpcast helps Farcaster refine the protocol and show the ecosystem what's possible.

Apple built all the apps for the original iPhone including YouTube and Google Maps

This is the best way to have empathy for builders on the protocol. Then step out of the way and let others build competitive alternatives.
