some questions I've asked my self about trading: - am I a professional trader? no - okay, so why am I trading? I work in a financialized industry and have proximity to people who are continually creating new assets, its fun and has been highly profitable in the past. - does this mean I should be trading? not necessarily, I should be careful when and how I take on further exposure to risk when I'm already indexed way more towards risk assets than typical - does this mean I shouldn't trade? no! but even in a bull market when buying memes is the norm, its important to work hard. If I'm just gambling, fine, but if I'm not learning more, developing skills will improve my chances of success. - what is my edge? platform, experience, access, and working harder than people around me, taste most important of all: am I using my edge? answers change. wishing you luck in the trenches vimes!
