Going coin viral in crypto is just like the arrival of a large group of cousins for your birthday party.
They’re staying for a couple weeks, they eat a lot, they’re loud. On arrival they all sing to you and eat cake, give presents. Man, it’s so nice. They’re fun to have around!
A week later they’re bored and restless, so you take them to the game room and show them your Pokémon cards. it’s fun for a bit but then they want to take every single rare charazard you own and propose outrageous trades for them. You can’t rly say no, mom said you have to, so you let them have your cards… later you find them in the computer den listing them on eBay.
one day after pancakes you look up and see a few cousins are across the street looking in your neighbor Jed’s backyard. Jed’s dad rented a fancy bouncy castle for his bday. Desperate, you rush out the Xbox to keep your young cousins locked in, but 1 by 1 they trickle out, & dash over to Jeds.

It’s true — no matter how much Zora’s content coins evolve, they will always carry the essence of a meme coin. When the hype fades, the crowd will move on.
But if Zora grows bigger — supported by the network effect of Base — then things might change. More users will come, not just from within the ecosystem, but from other chains too. They’ll come to explore, to be entertained, and some might even throw in $1 or $2 to support creators they like. As more users flock to Base, a few will start to realize: instead of chasing short-lived meme pumps, maybe it’s better to look for something built to last — like Clanker.
Some will continue to chase the money, hopping from one party to the next. But when Clanker’s birthday comes around, they’ll show up again — and a few will stay, not just for the hype, but because they genuinely like Clanker. And the cycle repeats. 2 replies
