We’ve talked a lot about how we are bootstrapped and practical but honestly I’m extremely grateful for all the support we’ve gotten from funds in the space 

It’s very informal, but a lot of funds have built or are building positions in $clanker. We have solid relationships with them, typically with one or two people at these funds, and chat about what we’re working on, our competitors, how we are thinking about growth. Some are liquid token funds, many are VCs we talked to post launch 

I’ve personally found it valuable. It’s helped me think about our work on longer time horizons and has been great for our network: no one knows more interesting teams than these people do. It has helped grow our confidence as we leave hackathon mode and become a company & team

Some people I just met, but call and text, others like Luc have been collaborators and mentors for much of the past year.
