have definitely noticed this trend. Farcaster has its own version, which is individuals who are hyperactive here who attempt to make something a reality turning away towards more realistic prospects (jobs) farcaster feels much more positive than CT, though quite hard to build in an environment where your average user sees you as a project to farm at best, as providing "solutions looking for problems...a relentless and brutal grift ..." at worst. on the other hand, I feel more optimistic on the product side. consumer crypto is getting more builder attention, the existence of farcaster & lens is a positive sign. we just have to keep building strong culture, weak cultures die. we have a long way to go

Thanks for your input! <3 And I agree, long way to go but it can definitely happen. Personally haven't seen the Farcaster version of this, but thinking about how people see projects just as a farm just strengthens my thinking that crypto has a monetization paradox. Too much monetization of literally everything is going to be off-putting to many people in the long run (especially for the mainstream) imo. Noticing this with myself already (so I might just be biased lol)
