“basil, what’s plan B if /animarising fails?” im sorry, what? plan B?! plan B is to find out where plan A went wrong, go two steps backwards, rework & reformulate, and then move forward again i feel like if you have a well thought out plan B, you haven’t given enough serious thought to plan A i believe in iterating on good ideas, not throwing shit at the wall & going with whatever sticks the mindset need be “failure is not an option,” not “fail fast & try something else”

nothing wrong with the serial entrepreneur who carries the notion of building a solution to a glaring yet challenging problem to fill a gap in the market so that they can exit within a year; but dis is not me; i’m building for a decade out i do have a plan C though, which is simply to buy more fc & base coins plan D is to sell coconuts on the beach

I think a lot of people arrive at wanting to be a "successful founder" before they have ideas and on Farcaster, we've seen some "I want to build something to ride the wave"

interestingly, i think i’m the exact opposite. i’ve always had ideas. i’ve always wanted to start my own thing. i’ve always felt that i could do X better than Y. i just didn’t have the confidence. i don’t seek to be a “successful founder” and i sure as shit don’t want to be validated with an “entrepreneur” or “ceo” title but i will become those things out of necessity cheesy, but genuinely think this is what i was made to do; it’s not some maybe i’ll do this until X happens, or until i can live like Y, etc. i could have all the money in the world or none of it & id still be doing this i’m also unemployable for these exact reasons :)
