If you’re monetizing your account and you are on the autofollow list you have an obligation to disclose that fact

If nothing else, I’ll judge you for not doing so

Last I checked, everyone with a certain number of followers gets added to the autofollow list. The frequency in that one gets followed is proportional to their existing followers + some flattening function to distribute it more evenly.

Is that not the case any more?

I think most people aren’t aware they’re even on it, or at least don’t realize when they get added into it.

I roughly remember getting on at around 600-700 followers around November. It was a very slow trickle but when the floodgates opened in January I went up +8000 in a week.
