One problem with projects funded on the open market (token launches, etc.) is that there really isn’t any founder accountability. They can just stop building, and the community can’t really do anything about it. They have no legal fiscal responsibility.

can you say more? we've seen this dynamic play out to some degree with higher too, right? to be clear I love higher, just think any coin that is live, with locked liquidity is subject to what jihad and mjc mentioned here

Upon second thought higher does not challenge the legal aspect of it… Was more thinking that /higher challenges the idea that there needs to be a lead dev for the community. But you could also make that point for most token launches I guess.
