I still don’t understand what they are. do I create my fan token? How does it work? Is it an erc 20? people buy fan tokens to earn more moxie?

fan tokens are erc20s, you can make them for your account or for channels you host you can use them in different ways, but holders will receive rewards depending on how you use them for example, if you have a fan token and you get a bunch of engagement, you'll earn $MOXIE, and people who hold your fan token will get a % of that $MOXIE

I believe earned MOXIE is vested, and rewards are distributed based on engagement, measured by things like SCS (social capital score) caveat...I think - docs are quite confusing. They are clearly working towards concepts, attempting to build a full economic layer embedded into the farcaster protocol primary goals are: reward people building directly on top of Farcaster, frames, channel economies, creators. And reward people creating engaging content buying fan tokens happens with moxie itself
