a roadmap can be extremely useful, but if the roadmap isn't aligned with a network's values its not a roadmap, its a delusion

anyone in the network can create a roadmap for their own initiative(s)

the key is that there is no canonical roadmap — whoever takes action is the leader, until someone else takes action that gets more organic support

yes! but there needs to be organization and direction

roadmap usually implies a centralized authority

in a headless or post-headless org, there still needs to be direction but authority is distributed, social

i think work begets work and leadership begets leadership, tho

so whoever sets that roadmap inevitably becomes the de facto leader
