The strongest networks aren't headless per se – they're floating. Floating networks don't need governance, canonical treasuries, or roadmaps. They need strong beliefs that attract builders and communal infrastructure for value creation.

a roadmap can be extremely useful, but if the roadmap isn't aligned with a network's values its not a roadmap, its a delusion

the question is “roadmap from who?” anyone in the network can create a roadmap for their own initiative(s) the key is that there is no canonical roadmap — whoever takes action is the leader, until someone else takes action that gets more organic support

yes! but there needs to be organization and direction roadmap usually implies a centralized authority in a headless or post-headless org, there still needs to be direction but authority is distributed, social

fair yeah i think work begets work and leadership begets leadership, tho so whoever sets that roadmap inevitably becomes the de facto leader not that that’s bad, but it’s something many aren’t ready for
