if your thesis is so good, why aren't you onboarding users? good consumer crypto is doing authentically different experiences on crypto rails. chipped always comes to mind, based product "more substantive and cryptonative consumer/social phenomena than any other buzzwords about composability or interoperability or owning your data"

Context, deleted bc was being unfair to those buzzwords A lot of the emergent social phenomena from shitcoin scene is because of the “composability” stuff which enables products like frens, interface, clanker and so forth

for me "consumer crypto" already implies some clunky, crypto-native experiences that only a few understand at first. it's about experiments around attention, and right now, it's mostly focused on agents not everything needs to onboard normies. there are still so many crypto holders waiting for that "what can i do with this token" moment

🔥🔥 Sometimes it’s just about having the people you talk to be on the same wavelength as you. I brought in @biko42 , @simradio , and @topeat . The first two benefit from my daily advice, so they’ve made good progress in the ecosystem and in their learning. They use Rainbow, Coinbase Wallet, and /interface , and they’ve understood the potential. The last one doesn’t benefit from my advice and is at a standstill. So, I’ve concluded that active guidance is necessary not because they lack motivation, but because they lack clear and easy-to-apply information.
