think that there is truth in basil's larger feedback here Base has done a great job supporting increasing volume on stuff like cb wrapped assets on aerodrome bootstrapped ecosystem, founders who are all friends and legitimately having fun, building apps on a social graph with live coins no one from coinbase has reached out to ask "proxy, are you taking the steps necessary to achieve a coinbase listing in the future?" jesse has been super supportive, and we are taking steps necessary for many things to happen, but why isn't this a priority? the market wants it, I could use the knowledge to support people in the eco growing their marketshare, and base would win by fostering an authentic culture much more likely to bring over attention & users from solana than (sorry) brett would ever, or has ever this year think farcaster has probably been more helpful behind the scenes than people realize, but I do wish that there was a bit more awareness of how much a clankermon scale project can do time to go hard

And to respond to your cast, I actually replied to @dwr.eth cast to say that we need a Jesse Polak, but for Farcaster. It’s frustrating to see so much potential here and yet remain stuck among ourselves without new users. If the infrastructure allows it, we really need to step up so that everything you’re saying here becomes obvious and we all work in that direction.

You know, someone who brings people together, communicates daily, spreads good vibes, and makes noise about Farcaster/Warpcast and exclusively that. Like Jesse does for Base. We have incredible tools here, and amazing people too. Every time I introduce our ecosystem to others, even non-crypto folks, they get excited and fascinated. I think now is the right time to make some noise. The builders are great, you’re doing an excellent job with your proposals and implementations for example, the viewSocial feature is exactly what I needed, and it confirms you have a clear vision for the future. So, in summary, just an iconic figure who unites the community and creates buzz around Farcaster with concrete use cases, like the Farcaster/Interface combo, for instance.
