active outreach is not a bad thing. I wouldn't have joined farcaster if people active here hadn't tweeted about stuff going on here. its fine to just hang out here as well, not everyone needs to be an evangelist but cults don't typically grow without them

I feel like targeted outreach is worthwhile. People with large audiences on Twitter or elsewhere have the most to gain by owning those relationships and greater potential for financial income from that audience here on FC. However simultaneously these people the greatest sunk cost from having a large existing audience captured in a corporate network, and so the largest disincentive to switch from platform to protocol. If you can bring these people across you’ll bring more of the conversation across and their audience will follow, especially if they’re not cross posting to Twitter or elsewhere. 1/
