There should be some type of group that can identify and crack down on $DEGEN airdrop farming. Airdrops must be given to real community members, not farmers. - incentivize report & verification activities with $DEGEN - have dedicated personnel for languages other then English

I think rather than approaching this as needing a group, we should (once governance is finalized) offer RPGF to builders who create tools to crack down on tip farming. several tools have been shipped already, we can help reward them. given that degen dao has no say on informing tip allocation + airdrop 1/2

it would be great to have some clarity from jacek on how /degen approaches this problem. thanks for sharing your idea 2/2

That is a great idea. But I think making tools and implementing them are two different things. Also airdrop farming is an immediate issue; a retroactive system wouldn’t be able to mitigate the ongoing farming. So we should head start with a group of people, and also call for devs to develop tools for these people.

1) degen dao has no authority within the degen project, there is no relationship between jacek (sole decision maker for Degen tip & airdrop) and degen dao (community dao with lots of $DEGEN tokens) 2. airdrop farming is an issue, and community members are already providing solutions & tools for slashing them.

we could incentivize those people to continue their work 3.a retroactive incentive system is a way to reward immediate work based on outcomes, not needs. we could pour 2 million dollars into this issue, jacek could not use our findings, and its wasted money.
