Scalable Sybil resistance sounds like an oxymoron but is one of the most important problems to solve

Maybe the answer is identity solutions (WorldCoin, Gitcoin passports) but maybe there exists some PoW like way to achieve this (yes, i realise raising costs and scalability don't go hand in hand)

But I think blockchains are built with economic security, and don’t need Sybil resistance, don’t you think? 

Currently, even with Sybil resistance a group of people can easily take over Ethereum, I mean, easily relative to without Sybil. 

Plus, airdrop farmers and bots on FC are inevitable and don’t matter IMO.

Lots of reasons. Some 👇
Blockchains need them to keep the number of adversaries below 1/3rd
Gitcoin needs them since quadratic dist. formula needs number of contributors
U don't want airdrop farmers, bots on social platforms (why farcaster still has permissioned signups)
