is there any information around the algorithm you use for generating these? or is it just a simply random coinflip for each pixel lol

I'm using the Elementary Cellular Automaton model. A pixel can be 1 or 0 (or 2 colors i mn my example) and the next pixel color is determined by the current pixel and its neighbors. I've selected a few rules as I don't like the output of all of them. I'll post a few links in a following cast
