accidentally became one of the @cryptothegame_ finalists whilst doing a lowkey study of anons & consumer crypto...

here’s the story of @0XNONEKO #305 & how i (inadvertently) Milady’d my way into the final (and confused some of my irl frens along the way)...

even from day 1 it was a struggle.. i started compiling cringes/complaints about ctg..

- why does a social game need a networking channel lmeow? 
- why is none of the games nor voting onchain?? (bls @dylanabruscato)
- who's unironically hiring based on ctg performance???

but beyond these frustrations, i laid low.. helped out where necessary whilst sticking to being a strong performer in each challenge... 

in survivor terms heres how i ended up outplaying, outwitting & (??? maybe) outsmarting my fellow ctg mates...

> outplaying; i was a blockbreaker pro, maxxing out my own score once, & helping another player get also a high score. I grinded at pinball & even confused some irl frens of mine..

(the tldr is that i managed to steal @Brentsketit's spinny fish sticker which deeply confused him, @veer && @doctorgm lmeowww)

> outwitting, i was helpful when needed (was admin of multiple Aqua sheets & entrusted in og tribe), but not too proactive (never too loud, never too eager. played the shadows.)

i was active through multiple of the puzzles/challenges (my favourite being the last one, the base16 to warpcast to ipfs hash, gold), helping put my brains to the test albeit never quite achieving immunity..

> outsmarted ??? still figuring this one out tbh. maybe just good vibes & mild autism carried me through lol

(probably helped that i never joined any cabal with my only non aqua chat being "I HAVE NO F*KIN IDEA", people after the merge had no idea who/what to vote based on lol)

honestly? i would probably just maximise focus on my gf’s quality of life. she’s been struggling lately (like a lot) & deserves everything good.

hanna (@ikbenhan) has supported me in ways people wouldn’t even understand.. both inside this competition & out, i fr would be nothing w/o her. (she was the one who helped me steal @Brentsketit's spinny fish)

she’s my love. my bestie. my everything.

its interesting looking back on the past 2 ish years of my life, spending most of my time around onchain gaming and consumer crypto, mostly volunteering and doing things for the fun of things.. with this being somewhat a "peak" of my playing career its been nice to reflect back..

probably played the "perfect" game, he was loyal to his teammates, got the final immunity && has a nice idea of a "ctg scholarship", which is a sweet idea and something i would've used in the previous seasons!

it started off as a planned thread breaking down my experience playing ctg in the mindset as an anon/consumer fresh to crypto, 

& then i somehow accidentally created the perfect alt identity which allowed me to carry my first ever season of ctg all the way to the final..
