if you haven't read it already, I think Daemon does the best job of highlighting what a world of crypto, DePin, AI agents, autonomous vehicles, etc. could naturally lead to. Unbelievably prescient for a book written in 2006.

The classics (dune, foundation, culture series) are great, but a recent standout was The Possibility of an Island by Houellebecq. The concept of clone descendants with knowledge of the "prime" versions of themselves feels more relevant now that LLM's simulations are improving every year.
