Basically, a tariff war is a race to see which country collapses first under stagflation. It can unfold in this vicious cycle:
1.	One country imposes tariffs (likely the U.S.).
2.	This causes deflation for the exporter and inflation for the importer.
3.	The opposing country retaliates with its own tariffs.
4.	Step 2 repeats in reverse.
5.	Inflation baselines rise while both economies sink deeper into recession.
6.	Both countries face severe stagflation, and one may default first.
