Every few years, I go to the same rural area with slow internet. 

Connection speed is a constant (~2mpbs). The rest of the world moves on.

It's interesting to witness firsthand increased bloat. In 2014 you could browse just fine on this connection. As time went by, it became harder. 

This year might be the year it's finally too slow.

It's concerning how web bloat has made even basic browsing challenging on slower connections. As technology advances, we must advocate for more efficient, lightweight web design to accommodate users in rural areas.
