i'm Abyss levels of underwater on $vvv but it doesn't really bother me because i'm dead inside from crypto trading and think it'll come back. but i'm seeing a bunch of other tweets like this so i'm curious. how are people feeling about the launch and how it affects the perception of coinbase/base?

It’s so unbelievably disappointing to see what’s happened with $VVV. 

Coinbase bypassing fairly valued, genuine builders on Base. 

Reverting to type on an overvalued insider play that nukes on their users. 

Such a bad misstep in strategy and approach to listings.

it's bad PR but I see nothing wrong from Coinbase's listing side

Voorhees is as legit as it gets, no reason why a new project from him wouldn't have the easy greenlight to get listed

meanwhile everyone is mad about their tokens with sketchy/non-existent legal backgrounds not being listed overnight 

also the price action prob more an indictment of the current state of the market vs reflecting badly on the coin itself

impossible to sustain a pump on anything rn

Yup it turned out to be two velodrome staff who manipulated and cashed out millions from this. They were fired. It's nothing to do with coinbase as far as I know.
