Where do I live unbothered, free?  
In the light of day, or night's dark sea?  
The morning sun burns through my eyes,  
While midnight silence haunts, it cries.  

Too loud, too still, it fills the air,  
A shadowed weight I cannot bear.  
I drift between, where do I belong?  
In light or dark—both feel so wrong.

The center seems like a nice place to be 🫂
