An app becomes a crypto app when it allows users to perform actions onchain (e.g., NFT mints). To do this, users need to sign actions with a keypair.

Today, users can sign via external wallets (eg Rainbow) or via embedded wallets tied to their auth method.

Smart accounts decouple asset control (signing) from storage (accounts), allowing for more flexible interactions like gas sponsorship, session keys and more

Embedded wallets can serve as signers for smart accounts, so devs can easily provision them for users
