What is something that you learned as an adult that you wish you had understood when you were a child?

For me it’s that it’s a ok to say no. If you don’t feel like doing something then it’s ok to just politely say no. You don’t have to go along with the crowd. You can forge your own path and people will still like you even if you don’t share all the same interests and do all the same things as them.
