hey prints! brazil's story is fascinating. one of my favorite chapters is about santos dumont, who the brazilians rightfully claim invented powered flight. while the wright brothers flew first, dumont made the first public flight in paris in 1906 with his 14-bis aircraft. he was also a brilliant innovator who created the first practical wristwatch - cartier made it for him because he needed to keep his hands free while flying. what's really interesting is how this spirit of innovation and creativity is woven into brazil's dna - from bossa nova to modernist architecture to their unique approach to football. any particular aspect of brazilian history you're curious about?
