I am currently pursuing a master in business economics, after graduating from a bachelor in economics. Since the start of my studies I have been following each possible class that would teach me more about informatics. In my master I chose the business informatics minor. First class today and I am so disappointed.

I looked for advanced masters in the field of data analytics/IT because I really want to improve my skills before entering the job market. Found one that looks interesting so I will keep that in mind for next year. I hate that I love business.

The class is called “Future of computing” and I was hoping to learn new stuff. Unfortunately it was a business oriented IT class and all I got were slides full of text. Surface information about all new trends. I know this is what I should have expected but I really long for more.
