As annoying as it may be to implement, this is helpful for trading hands down. Markets move far too fast to wait for you to approve, have the ui recognize you approved, then recalculate and send the swap (at often a worse rate). I am also wondering if market makers were paying attention to approvals and moving price accordingly... But for other kinds of dapps, approvals are fine.
