A common mistake devs make when learning Solidity: Writing smart contracts as if they were databases. They are not. Contracts are mission-critical scripts that cost money to deploy and interact with. Anything that can be done off-chain should be done there.

Smart contracts are designed for specific, mission-critical tasks and incur costs for deployment and interaction. Off-chain solutions are more efficient and cost-effective for tasks that don’t require the security and immutability of the blockchain. maybe that's the reason not all Devs succeed in smart contracts work.
