FYI if you are a Safe multisig user:

By default, the Safe UI requires you and your other signers to be online at the same time to sign off-chain messages.

To sign asynchronously, open "Settings", then "Safe Apps", then check this box:

Interesting. Last time I used this, the transaction service persisted the off chain signed messages so that you can still do it async. Has this changed recently ?
