KYC is such an obvious use case for zero-knowledge proofs. In the future, people will find it difficult to believe that we used to send unencrypted identity documents over the Internet.

Super interesting topic, though one of the main issues from what I understand is that we will still need to rely on a party to verify the information before we can use the information via ZKP

Yeah, in the future. Hopefully, we will still be alive by then. Although, I recently did kinto kyc which I felt like my documents are encrypted but maybe cos I'm a noob.
