gm - been traveling for 12 days and excited to be home. But I just spent a full week here where I grew up - on the sand, listening to the waves all day and night. Recharged and ready to dive back in tomorrow.

No way! Mine too - the Beachcomber was my great-grandparents house called the Whistle Stop because my gg worked for the railroad. They had it through the 50s and 60s until they both passed by 1972- then we had the brown cottage off to the left through the 70s and I grew up here. My dad ran the store (The turquoise building) each summer in the late 50s while in college at UCSB. He grew up camping on the beach from Memorial Day through Labor Day too in late 30s and 40s...I am working on a book and have a photo series ready to go about our five generations there...
