The moment felt warm, and the sun hugged the bristles of grass tightly. The sky danced around the hill, cupping our small blanket perched at the top. The sweet scent of the wind passed by, and life itself felt still—so still that even a picture couldn’t capture the moment. Still, I rose to my feet to take in everything around me.
