"Christian Barnard" was born in "Beaufort West", South Africa and graduated from Cape Town Medical School. He went to America for research studies but returned to Cape Town in 1958 to work on open surgery and organ transplantation. He performed the first human heart transplant surgery in the world. Rest in peace🙏
