So Foxtrot and Doms closed "forever" this morning... No notice to employees and fully stocked stores... There has to be more to the story

Yup, they merged with Doms a few months ago and just filed for bankruptcy, they have locations in a few other states too. Even if you file for bankruptcy you should liquidate inventory and give notice to employees, something weird going on

Wow yeah that business model seemed air-tight for that market. 

Didn't something similar go down with parlor pizza a few years back?
